Viva Garden – Website with integrated online bookings system

A day garden with lavender plantation, located a few km from Bucharest, now has a unique online presence, DUMS brand.

The site contains an integrated online booking system, developed especially for this project, but also an intuitive administration platform, which allows changing rates, updating texts, adding photos to the gallery and, of course, booking management.

The project

01.Mixed
The VIVA component uses a serious serif font with a larger size than the rest of the components, ensuring legibility even from a distance.

02.Personal
The Garden component uses a font that mimics handwriting, for a more personal and welcoming air.

03.Homogenous
The entire logo is brought together by the illustration of a lavender branch, suggesting the advantage of the location.

A logo that allows easy identification from a distance and ensures the legibility of the name, suitable for a bright company.

White
The basis color, allows the eyes to relax.

Solar Yellow
Complementary to the purple tone, it offers a strong contrast to the closed sections, allowing highlights.

Black
Used to create the Card-Layout effect, but also to differentiate information within the descriptive pages.

Medium gray
Tempered in relation to white, it offers a discreet contrast but sufficient for text bodies.

Lavender
The color chosen to suggest the location differentiator, is used to rhythm the layout and compliment the photos.

Playfair Display

Chosen for the increased degree of detail and seriousness, it combines with the font chosen for the text bodies, creating a pleasant dialogue.

Montserat

Chosen for its modern character and increased readability, it is used both for text bodies and for subtitles where the serif font would have offered too much visual diversity.

Composed of images of the location, images that illustrate the activities and photos with lavender, the moodboard of the project is a diverse one, both as a subject and from a chromatic perspective.

In the pages of the site, the photos with lavender have the highest degree of coverage, followed immediately by the photos of the location.

One click to book

The booking calendar displays the days when the garden can be booked, and a simple click on the desired day will open a booking form that also shows the cost of the stay. If several days are required for the reservation, the displayed cost will be updated dynamically.

Lively

How can you better present the wide range of activities available, if not through photos with juxtaposed activities. The activities are presented in detail, however, on the dedicated page.

Intuitive interface

The booking calendar displays the days available from the first, and allows you to place a reservation with a simple click.

Ergonomical

The rates are displayed in a restricted table for the selected period. Thus, visitors can select the desired period and will see the rates directly, instead of having to search in a table with all the periods and related rates.

Easy bookings management

And here things are intuitive: To see the details of a reservation, the administrator just has to click on the purple box that marks the reservation, and to add a new reservation - on a free box in the calendar. The application will open a form similar to the one on the first page, where the details can be easily changed.

Contact details update

Does the administrator go on vacation and want to change the phone number on the site? Nothing easier! By updating the phone number in the panel, it will be updated instantly throughout the site.

New pics? No problem!

The administrator can add an unlimited number of photos, modify them or even delete the old ones with a simple click. The gallery is divided into three categories, and each of them can be extended with several photos.

Easy texts update

All texts included in the website can be easily modified from the administration panel. Their sequence is the same as in the Front End, allowing easy identification of the position of the text to be modified.
